UKCEN events
There are various events, in the UK and internationally, which address clinical ethics, including events that are supported by UKCEN. This page includes general information about UKCEN events that are likely to be relevant to people working (or interested) in clinical ethics. (Please also see our Courses pages, as these provide further relevant links.)
Please help us to build these pages. UKCEN would be pleased to publicise events relevant to clinical ethics. If you would like to advertise your event here, please email us.
General: UKCEN Events
UKCEN hosts events annually in different locations across the UK. A one-day conference is usually preceded by a half-day training workshop. Amongst other benefits, subscribing UKCEN members have access to some free places at these events – you can read more about the benefits of becoming a member in Members. You can read about the next UKCEN conference and workshop elsewhere on these Events pages.
“Exciting, engaging… Very high quality of speakers and presentations… Topics very interesting and extremely useful to my day job… Good range of speakers, good pace, I liked the variety of different formats: plenary, breakout groups, debate… Impressive participants, time for networking and informal conversation, good audience questions…”
Delegates’ feedback on UKCEN conferences
“Well organised and the topics were relevant to my own CEC work. It was also a great opportunity to network and meet others to share ideas and learning experience… Case discussion was excellent… More of the same please!”
