There are distinct types of membership:

Subscribing member. All UK clinical ethics services are eligible for subscribing membership. Most subscribing members will be Clinical Ethics Committees. However, individuals (in the UK and overseas) who have an active interest in clinical ethics may also apply to become subscribing members. Subscribing members pay an annual fee. In addition to supporting UKCEN, benefits to subscribing members include free places at UKCEN conferences and workshops, and (password) access to further online resources.
Registered member. All UK clinical ethics services are eligible for registered membership. Ideally all such services will register with UKCEN, as this will help the Network to support services and facilitate networking between them. Registered membership is free but you will not have access to some of the benefits enjoyed by Subscribing Members.
